Today was our garage sale, it was a success. Kendall was such a little trooper, the first time someone bought something of ours she watched them walk to their car and looked at me with confusion all over her face and said, "Why are they taking our stuff?" She didn't fuss once when her old toys were taken away one by one. Mostly she just sat in her mini lawn chair next to me and watched all the people. Tonight I caught her singing the song that Dani taught her.

Later she was playing really sweetly with Kate in the living room reading books. I heard her say, "Now, we put them all away so if the lady comes to look at our house and says, 'Is it clean?' she will say, 'Yes, it is!'" Gotta love that little lady of mine.

One of our garage sale-ers seemed pretty interested in our house. She lives in our neighborhood and wants to move into a bigger space (they have 5 kids). I thought it would be pretty cool if I sold my house at my garage sale!!

  1. I love that song being sung by her sweet little voice! Now, I'm in the mood to go watch "Dirty Dancing"!

  2. I keep listening to this. I love it!!

  3. That is priceless! Does she remember National Cry Day?

Off to watch Dirty Dancing! not homework just doesn't do it for me like the Maranga does. Or however that dance is spelled!
I think it is pronounced Muh rang gay. You know the one that Johnny (aka Patrick Swayze) is trying to convince the nerd grandson into letting them dance at the closing ceremony. ...okay I know it has been a long time since I saw it, but I am pretty sure you know what I am talking about....well Aunt Lesley does!

On that Kendall sitting in the corner, because 'Nobody sits Baby in the corner!' ...or something like that.

Kendall's song was cute but I'm more interested in selling the house at the garage sale. That would be a first I'm sure. Do you remember getting a dog at a garage sale? I thought that was pretty unusal. m

  5. you are so organized! already got a garage sale finished! Amazing.

    love the song, too.
