Yippee

We love the new color. We haven't moved the furniture back yet but here it is. We were so pleased with their work, I can't wait to start decorating. I'm going to do something similar to this over our couch. A ledge with lots of large framed black and white pictures.

I had a bit of a rough start to the day. I woke up with mastitis, not fun. I had it right after Kendall was born so I knew what it was when I started feeling the symptoms. If you aren't familiar with it, it's an infection that nursing mothers get. Aside from the soreness in the infected area you also have chills, fever, and flu like symptoms. SOOO when the painter got here this morning I was on the floor in the office with the kids playing around me. I had a hard time sitting up! I got in touch with Lorie around lunch time and she saved me. I had feed the girls breakfast but that zapped all my energy so she brought lunch (my first meal of the day) and then stayed with us the rest of the day. Around 4:30 she took Kendall home with her and then later Brian and I met at their house for pizza. Luckily my doctor trusted that I knew what I was talking about and called in a prescription for me...4 pills a day for 6 days! While Lorie was here she took lots of great pictures of the girls, I'll post them as soon as I can (either later tonight or tomorrow).

  2. Ashley,
I love the colors, but I can't stop thinking of your pain! I had that condition twice while nursing my babies and whoa Momma that HURTS! I was told that warm compresses help. And isn't that practical to go around chasing after your little ones with warm towels wrapped around your chest! I'm thinking a male physician came up with that one. Hope the meds work! I'll be thinking of of you!!!
