...eating (Kendall grabbed the spatula out of the brownies while I was talking, I didn't realize what had happened until everyone started to laugh!)
...sucking (Kate found her bottom lip and realized that her toes act as a good teether as well, mmmmm toes)
We stayed the first half of the week at Kristy's house and now we're at mom's. Tonight we go to Uncle Mike's house for a BBQ. So fun to come to P'cola and see both sides of the family!
Mom and I took the girls to the beach today because I wanted Kendall (and me) to get some white P'cola sand between our toes. Kendall was.....well, a typical child from a land lock state. She was less then thrilled to get her feet "dirty" in the sand and was not impressed by the "water ocean". She loves to look at it from the car but didn't love the idea of getting in it. Kate was less then enthusiastic as you can tell. This was the conversation on the way home: Kendall: "I played in the sand" Me: "Yes, you did, did you like the sand?" Kendall: "No" then she proceeded to fall asleep, boy that sand is exhausting. Note: Notice the death grip she has on Memaw and the feet hovering above the ground.
these are some of the cutest pictures I have ever seen!!! Those are the five most beautiful children ever!! (besides me of course!!) :) I am glad that you are having such a good time Aunt Ashley. You deserve it! I miss you though and can resume workouts until I go back to school if you would like!! I love you! Check Moms blog if you havent already... Dads sick.
ReplyDeletewhat a great trip!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, you can tell Kendall is Fuji's child. The beauty of the ocean ruined by not wanting to get her feet dirty.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics, it looks like you guys are having a blast.
