  3. Currently I am reading Fundamentals of Cost Accounting and Questions that Matter: An Invitation to Philosophy. In about four weeks, I will be reading West Federal Taxation: Comprehensive, Macroeconomics: Public and Private Choice and last but not least, Bulls, Bears and Golden Calves: Applying Christian Ethics in Economics. Do these count??

  7. Please everyone, don't fight over my 'good' reads. Everyone can take turns! Les, I am sorry but I think that Lorie was first! ...but then again, Paula sounded pretty interested too!

And actually because I am such a dork, I like the cost accounting book, but philosophy is TERRIBLE!! I don't see how that could interest anyone!...but then again I am a numbers person!

And in all seriousness, I have been given a book from a dear friend written by Joyce Meyer, Battlefield of the mind. I am really excited about reading it, but haven't got around to it yet. Has anyone read it?

I am just starting to read"TAKE THE RISK" by Ben Carson. He is so laid back when speaking and telling many of his experiences while growing and the extent to what his mother had in the way she guided him.
And most of all, the surgery he has performed on so many children. It is exciting and mindboggling to follow this story . Gram23

  9. I read something about him a while back. I can't remember if it was a book or a short story, but I knew exactly who you were talking about Gram. It was very interesting!!

I just finished John Grisham's new book, The Appeal, which was interesting but I liked his, The Innocent Man much better. It should be in paper back by now and would be a good read on your trip. It is nonfiction and really makes you stop and wonder how this could happen in our country.
