Beware the Light Socket

Last month while I was having my hair cut I heard the stylist ask, "Do you ever wear your hair curly?" I looked around to see who she was talking to and then realized that she was looking at me. "Who, me??" She informed me that I had curly hair. Now, I'm turning 28 this month and this was a piece of information about myself that I did not know. I knew that when I was little that I had curly hair but I just figured that since I now had some length to it and that it was now adult hair the curl was no more. She gave me instructions on how to make it curly and this morning I decided to give it a try. Maybe, there may be a SLIM (and I do mean slim) chance that beneath this frizz there may be a curl or two. Now that I think back to the moment when she was giving me instructions I think that she might have mentioned using low heat and that is part of the instructions that I failed to follow. So today my "curls" are marginally contained in a pony tail.

  4. My hairdresser told me the same thing too several years ago. And then she proceeded to show me that it WAS curly!! I hadn't ever had anyone tell me that my hair was curly. I occasionally wear it natural now. Ashley, get a difuser for your dryer and it works much better, not so much frizz. love, paula
